They also chat about Paul Verhoeven's 2006 film Black Book and how he captures the fog of war. We are in a fog right now and it will be interesting to see how the history books end up being written. We do know one thing, it is always OK to punch a nazi.

First episode with Amber and Gabe living apart and so much has happened. Amber is living in a treehouse in an artist loft in Bushwick and Gabe is microdosing while doing his taxes. There are fireworks going off at all hours and it's hailing during BLM protests. NYC is wild.

In this episode we talk about cops both real and robotic. Amber is uninterested in narratives about police while Gabe thinks they can provide critical analysis and insight. This episode gets a bit dramatic and is the last episode where we are living together. We will be continuing the podcast but now as exs living separately, not together, but still friends.
