South Africa has highest prevalence of Foetal alcohol spectrum disorders in the world

South Africa has the highest reported cases of Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) in the world, with a prevalence rate as high as 28 percent. The World Health Organisation states that the prevalence of FASD is less than 1 percent globally. FRANCE 24's team on the ground reports.
